The Java Lulur – the Royal Love Ritual
time 2 hours, holistic feast for the enthusiasts of the Orient

An ancient beautifying ritual carried out on the island of Java before a wedding. Its main part was the body peeling based on Lulur - the mixture of oriental herbs and spices. Tamarind seeds, a sandal tree or orange turmeric spice mixed with rice powder and nuts, delicately remove the dead epidermis and leave the skin silky smooth and smelling of the far Orient. A relaxing ritual begins the traditional Bali massage with the use of jasmine oil. The subsequent step is a body peeling based on the Java Lulur, a bath in flower petals and the application of the nutrient body cream. It is also a unique experience for couples who, in the Bali room for two, can undergo the sensual ritual together.
